First Day at Y&R

It wasn't a great day really, as I have expected.

As in all first-day-at-work days, it was quite boring (well, except in the morning where I had to run to Adboard to present two TV boards) especially in the afternoon. My assigned computer was not fixed yet so I can't even surf the net or even type a blog or even chat. Or just type some number in Microsoft Excel. No.
Couldn't chat naman to people kasi -- very close ah.

My boss, Marivic, is kinda hyper. She's this very small girl with a very outrageously strong vocal cords. She has her own room, but you can hear her voice from the other end of the office. Ibang klase.

My other team mate, also a Sr. Account Manager, is so articulate I wanna be like her. The way she speaks, the way she writes her emails to client, her JOs to Creatives, are done with real thinking and very impressive terminologies. Plus, she's so nice.

There's this one long-haired guy from Creatives who said "First day? First day?" I said "Yep, my first day." He replied "Lagot ka..." (with that hand gesture where the index finger is shaking). He was like scaring me but really, I'm so not scared of him. I so can see that he's like pretending to be scary but really, he doesn't scare me one bit.

The office is not especially beautiful, but nice nevertheless.

And after years in the industry, I can really say people in Accouting department are very Jologs.

Bye.

You say hi to Hegel for me. And you watch out for those slippers hidden underneath the desks of the Accounting people.
