Singapore Day 3

First, I went to Sentosa again to check on their other attractions.. beach, underwater world, etc... Not so much impressive. Your basic theme park. Would have been better siguro if the cable cars were working. But no, they had to do their annual maintenance today...

Anyway, after that, I decided to explore the City in a very urban commuter way. From Sentosa, I rode a bus going to the nearest MRT station which is Harbour Front. From there, I chose a place to go to for no particular reason. I chose Queenstown because its not a location where the train goes there directly. I wanted a place where I would need to think which train I would need transfer to next. Some kind of making train riding a complex thing. Also, just to familiarize myself how the subway in Singapore works.

Queenstown is place where there are lots of schools (and of course, unfortunately dirty smelly kids) around. So, just right after getting there, I went back to the train and decided to go to Orchard. Again, this is not an easy straight route. I will have to figure again what train i would transfer to.

Generally, the subway was easy to follow. Directions were quite clear and I made it through.

Today was a bit tiring for me because I went in different places to find pasalubong things. But, it was difficult because everything was expensive. I went to Little China and Lucky Plaza (kung saan ang dami daming Pinoy ah) to shop.

Tonight, I went with my former (and one of my favorites) client to have dinner and a couple of drinks in bars along Holland Village strip. Its actually near to where we both live. But, the whole area is nice with small stores and bars of everything. Small starbucks, small Breadtalk, etc.

Hay... my last night at Singapore. How fast time flies....
