Lupang Banyaga

Thank God, getting online is much easier here at Singapore. Never had a chance at bali and if you use your room's hotel, its a dial-up. Very, very , very slow.

Anyway, I'm in Singapore, man!!! Thanks to my colleague in my Agency's singapore office for letting me stay at her place.

But, Bali first. The hotel was really great. Great rooms, great view. But that's just the hotel. Bali beach was not awesome at all. I don't even think you can swim bec of the big waves. It is a surfer's paradise, I think. I went downtown to check on the bars. I was kind of disappointed, though, because it was chaotic in a "jologs" way. Sort of "baduy" - baduy music, musicians and the people in it.

I arrived yesterday at Singapore in the afternoon and immediately, met up with my former Citibank client. We went to the busy road of Orchard. Then, I met up with Joel. He went with us to have dinner at... oh my god, i forgot the place. sorry. Anyway, we had a sumptuous dinner. thanks to joel for introducing to us the sting ray. It was the bomb. We then went to Clark Quay, a very long classy strip of bars beside a river. One pitcher of tiger beer is Sing$30. So, very much P1,000. And, of course, being the beer drinkers Joel and I are, we ordered another one. So, P2,000 of beer drinking. Expensivities! But had so much fun. I was really, really glad to see a chum in a foreign land. Really. Very class..

I just woke up now and will get ready for a day's adventure at Singapore... by myself.

So, Lord, help me.
