After my morning presentation to Client, we, my boss and Creatives, went to have lunch at "Brazil, Brazil." It's an all-you-can-eat meat restaurant.
First, there's a table at the center of the restaurant where you get your soup, salad, cakes, rice, pasta, etc. Then, one by one, different waiters or waiteresses will go to your table holding a big slab of meat. If you like some, he or she will cut you slices. Each will be given a tong to get your share. Different kinds came by - porkloin, angus beef, beef steak, big hotdog, chicken, etc - all grilled to perfection.
Yes, it was a perfect course meal, especially for me as I am a devout eater of flesh. I am not really a big fan of leafy vegetables.
As the meat came pouring in, I was overwhelmed with the amount that I've devoured. I actually felt like I've reached my lifetime quota for eating meat. I did not even go for a second round of rice (I am like a carpentero in terms of eating rice). I was already full, a little more would make me one high-blood, cholesterol-full person.
Should I eat meat again? Of course, and lots of it - maybe just take out some of the taba and eat more greens.
