Up on my toes

I'm being cautious right now with my current happiness.'

The first time I got here in Cambodia to start a new life, I was surprised how fast I was able to adjust and it wasn't a secret that I was having a blast. I would always tell my friends back home in Manila that my life here then was great, and not just good.

But then, it all came crashing down. Maybe, I was having so much fun that I failed to see the important things that I needed to do in the first place why I'm here.

Now, I'm trying to build my life back. I'm contented and happy.

But I'm trying to control this happiness, keeping some of it in and trying to strike a balance between fun and serious.

Í have new work, nice boss, more friends. I'm really, really happy.

Just scared that the Universe might just take it all away from me all of a sudden.

So, I'm up on my toes. All of them.
