Summer Boracay

Well, this may be long overdue but I guess my first boracay experience with Ets as a "local" deserves an entry.

Anyhoo, my bora trip was really biglaan. As in biglaan (me and techie) with the knowledge that a couple of our college friends were already there. Planned it in the afternoon of Holy Thursday and flew to Bora morning of Good Friday.

I planned to keep this trip secret from Ets so that it becomes a more exciting surprise for her. But this very stupid Tracy has an uncontrollable mouth and told Ets over the phone. (Stupid, stupid, eestewwfeeed!)

So, Good Friday. Got to paradise island early, like 930 am and settled in to where Paolo and Ria are billeted. Boracay Gold Crown. A place that gave me an experience I won't ever ever forget. (which I will narrate in a short while). Maite's still at work so we went for a swim first in the beautiful beautiful beach.

In the afternoon, we all went to have a nap, after having cool shakes from Jonah's.
Upon waking up, we had dinner at Sienna's then proceeded to have a couple of drinks outside our hotel. After an hour or two, Maite arrived. And with high levels of ecstatic joy, we hugged real tight (yuck). Paolo and Ria went back to the room while Ets and I had a long walk (and talk) up to the dulo of the island.. and back.

Now, first night of sleep was something that I'll remember for the rest of my life as it still brings chills to my body. At about 2 to 3 am, I heard the voice of my friend, Paolo, calling my name, saying things I don't quite remember. In a sleepy manner (eyes-closed), I would hum a reply. And then nothing. I heard it again and replied a hum. Nothing still. So, I opened my eyes to check and saw Paolo deep in sleep. So, I went back to sleep, but thinking that if I hear it again, then I should be scared. True enough, I heard it again. At that very moment, the aircon (which is by the wall near where my legs where) engine begins to roar much louder. I was in a dapa sleeping position. And slowly, I felt that someone or something started's making patong to me. That something is so big and strong that I couldn't let myself go. My first instinct was to pray aloud. But I could, because I also felt that it was trying to cover my mouth. I was shaking my head from left to right trying to let go and for a second I was able to, and that's when I shouted the Apostle's Creed. After the first few words, it let go and then I jumped to my friends' bed. Shaking with Fear. That's it.

Okay, enough about that because I really want to forget it na. The next day, we just basically did some swimming. Met up with Techie and her friends from J. Walter. Then, went back to our hotel to sleep again. We were getting ready for the "party" night. We waited for Maite as her work ends at ten. Being an impatient parzone, I popped before Ets came. But she got in na rin after a few minutes.
It was heavenly. I just like to thank all the chums who called and gave good vibes -- Tracy, Drach, Dsj and most especially to Joel, who sang "Before Today" for us. D ko kinaya! Thanks Chums!
The Party was great... not to mention, "extended" party sya for me. Up until the next day.

Anyway, I'm tamad to write na. Let me share with you a few of Bora sunset photos...

And to give you an idea of how dami the tao was (na for me, okler lang. not worst.)

Yes....

I stayed at Maite's place in my last two nights at Bora. Explanations & Descriptions on Maite's humble abode, I will just narrate in person, if you want to know. But just to give you an idea, when Gigi asked me how Maite's place looked like, my only answer was "para syang lumang bahay sa Paco Manila." What is. Eh that's what came to mind when I saw the place eh.

Anyway, more cool pics...

Thanks Ets for bringing us to Puka Beach. Lumot-less!!!

Really really had a BLAST!
