My last week's laundry should have arrived three days ago. And for those three days, I have been calling and calling the laundry shop to bring my clothes back. But everytime I call, nobody answers. At first, I thought, maybe the people were in an out-of-town vacation. Fine.
Today, the 4th day since, I cannot wait anymore. Upon waking up, I tried to call right away. Still nothing.
(Backgrounder: I never knew where the laundry shop is located bec they pick my dirty clothes up and delivered it right at my doorstep after laundry)
I called our building's office to ask for another number of the laundry shop. By the way, the laundry shop is also a tenant in the building. So, I am assuming they have a masterlist of sorts. But instead, they told me to call the lobby guard. Fine.
So I called up the lobby guard. They don't have a list either. In an obvious growing anger in my tone, I asked them to ask someone to check the lower ground for this laundry shop. I gave the name.
I called again ten minutes after to ask for feedback. There was another guard in the lower ground floor and apparently, he has the list. But, unfortunately for me, there was no such laundry shop in his fucking list. For a few seconds, I felt panic and paused for while. Maybe I won't be able to see my clothes forever. I then asked for the number of the other Cityland condominium because probably the laundry shop is stationed there.
I called them up. Same thing. They don't have such laundry shop there as well.
I decided to just screw this search first and go to work. But, I decided to go to lower ground first for one last search effort. Just a few steps into the lower ground, and there it was - my laundry shop. My Geads! The girl inside kindly apologized because their phone was busted. That's fine with me, at least I know my clothes are safe.
I quickly went back to the lobby guard and told them that my laundry shop is just a floor down to where they are stationed. I just wanted them to feel that they didn't do enough, or even just a little effort. They blamed it on the list. Then, I just replied that they should have done some inventory on their list. They should have updated it.
Hay,its a hassle that I didn't need very early in the morning.
