Last Thursday and Friday, we had our company outing at La Luz, which to me is as dead as the leaves dangling in the photo above.
Nevertheless, our outing was an eventful experience, full of inconvenient events that you just have to laugh it off, instead of cursing the high heavens.
For example, going to our meeting place, we see our bus. It so laos. Its one of those old air-conditioned buses you see in EDSA, where one side is supposed to be for 3 passengers, but in a very cramped-siksikan way. The bus looks really cheap for an excursion and I, at one time, was hesistant and ashamed at first to go down in Shell Expressway. But, I need a smoke, so never.
We were then told that we were gonna change our bus at Sta. Rosa. So we did.
It was better. Although, not the Victory Liner I was expecting, at least, the seats were not cramped.
I thought everything will be smooth sailing from there. Pero, alam ba ng driver ang pupuntahan? Syempre, hindi. At syempre, nawala kami. My Geads!
To make matters worst, d na kaya ng bus namin at one point at nasira na sya, aircon and all. So, we had to stop in some gilid and wait till God knows when.
Since our bus is a hopeless case, our Boss came up with the idea of getting and hiring Jeeps to take us to our beach.
So, yun. We got 4 jeeps to take us to the beach. Worst! Worst! Worst!
But thinking back, fun na rin.
We got to the beach, all tired, sweaty and dirty. From here onwards, it was Pure Fun, Alcohol and Lots (as in lots) of Digicam!
