I went with Dsj and Drach to a Saguijo adventure last Saturday.
I was hesitant at first because I thought I wasn't "cool" enough to survive in that gimik.
Anyway, honestly, it was fun. Not fun as in, laugh out loud fun. But the bands and the music they were playing were really good. I may not know the songs but they're really superb.
Saguijo, aptly located in Guijo street, is such a small, small place. As in Unit 719. And there are like 5 big speakers around. So, its really really loud inside. You can't talk to each other. Actually, the bands are just a few feet away from you so even if there's one speaker, lakas pa rin ata.
I just don't know why they have to price beers at 49.50. Actually, I think its a deceiving ploy to earn more because everytime we buy two, they won't give change anymore to P100 - although piso na lang naman. But how many people buy beers? Lots.
Even if I super liked the songs, I got tired after a few hours (we were standing the whole time because the place was jampacked) and slept a bit amidst loud sounds.
But I'd still go there if I get invited again.
