Big Deal

I think its getting to be a big deal here at my office that I be present in the christmas party.

One of the owners saw my leave application and hurriedly approached me to talk about it. She wanted to make sure that I attend the Christmas party.

Honestly, i don't give a damn about it. Boracay with my close friends? I wouldn't miss it for the world.

But I guess they love me so much that my absence will render the event corny (If I may add, for some weird reason, people here find me funny and cool.) Anyhoo, to cut our conversation short, I assured the boss that by Dec. 17, I'll be back already. I completely forgot that I will be taking a boat ride. If I leave boracay on Friday, I'll be back in Manila on Saturday. Meaning, I will not be able to attend to party.

Again, I don't care. But, let's see if they'll make a big deal out of it.
