The Universe Conspired Against Me

I didn't want to have lunch with my boss.
It's not that I don't really like my boss but as subordinates, you sometimes don't feel like hanging out with the higher ups.

My officemate and I planned to have lunch out. I told her to be quiet about it because if she hears about it, she'll most probably go with us. Eh di ko ata feel.
Our group secretary wanted to join us also.

By 1145, my boss invited me to join her na mag padeliver for lunch. I told I'm going out for lunch - without inviting her. So, I guess that's assumed already that I'm having lunch with somebody not from the office.

One by one we came out from our office. We decided to eat in a place where she doesn't usually eat lunch at. Not LKG, not Cafe Vicino, but food court at GT Tower, which was also my first time. We also texted the other AE who's in a client meeting to join us after.

While eating lunch, Precy's face became pale as she pointed to our boss. As I saw her, I immediately stopped eating, stood up and left the table and went into hiding. My other officemates just sat down with their backs facing her, praying that our boss wouldn't go near and recognize them. As I was walking on the other side of the food court, (I don't know what I did to God to make me go through with this)I bumped into my boss! Fuck diba?

We said our Hi's, but in a cold way. She asked me who I was with. I told her I'm waiting for a friend. Shar. But she was with our Creative Director who saw us, me and the AEs, eating together. So, I'm sure she told my boss na magkakasama kami.

Of all the places, of all times, why did she have to eat at that place? Why???

Well, anyway, coming back to the office, I decided to make it deadma. She didn't make me pansin. I didn't also.

Never. I have a new laptop naman.
