I've been dong this WOTY with my chums and I hope this year, it will rock like fuck.
Coming into the new year, it was sort of hell in a way that I barely had time for myself. Work was my life, every minute of every day. Weekends were not spared.
But, I never wavered. Goda kung goda. Death kung death. I had so many doubts about myself, about my capabilities.
I guess I wanted to prove something.
And the validation did come yesterday via email, recognizing the work that team has done. And my name was mentioned, specifically, for the great work and dedication I apparently have shown.
Love came from work first. That's fine. I'd take it a million times over.
Romantic love is a bonus.
So, c'mon 2012. Let's keep this up!
