But not the same as the previous year where big celebrations, dragon boat races and concerts were held. And millions from provinces would come here at Phnom Penh. I still remember the droves of people coming here, it's amazing.
This year, the government suspended all activities but at least, still no-work. For three fucking days! Isn't that the best?
While I will work for a bit just here at home, this is one much-needed respite.
I have been spending time with the couple, Eng and Toefi. Just going around the city, watching movies, shopping a little and of course, eat. And when, I get home, time is devoted to just watching DVDs.
It's not the usual partying or clubbing. In fact, no alcohol at all. Just your basic run-of-the-mill steady hang outs. No late night drunken moments.
And I love it.
I need more of these.
