I was about to go insane this Holy Friday when I asked my friend and room mate, Jose, that we should snap out of this boredom bits and just go out into the world.
And that's what we did. Of course, Makati is dead, except for few Starbucks stores. In fairness. So, we went to MOA. The mall is closed. But all the restaurants and bars near it are open, with lots and lots of people! Its like your normal Friday, when people get to unwind from a busy week. There are even loud party sounds. I told my friends na in this part of Manila, parang hindi patay ang Diyos.
Please bare with the resolution. Apart from using just my phone camera, at most times, I was walking while taking the shots.

We ate at Fridays...

Gabi na, ang dami pa rin!

And kids playing inside these gigantic, transparent balls floating on water?

And, guys, PADI's. It was a party place. Jusko.

After a bit of strolling by the bay, we have had enough of this side of the world and went back to our home -- Makati. But before we really went home, we stopped by Tonton's for some bone-breaking, sleep-inducing body massage.
I just realized, ang dami pala naming mga bored during Holy Week. Everyone there in MOA are obviously looking for something to do.
I was amazed actually. Are Filipinos becoming less and less religious? That instead of staying home and praying with the family or going to churches, praying novenas, they just all go to the malls?
I don't know. But what a way to end Holy Friday.
Good Nighty!
