A former officemate of mine is joining the bandwagon of peeps becoming OFWs.
He's going to try it out in Vietnam, in the same advertising industry. My other officemate naman just left to try his luck in Dubai.
Henihoo.. Makes me wanna sigh because I'm still stuck here. Probably, I'm not putting more effort to achieve this goal.
I went down to smoke with my art director. Being the Chinese person that she is, she explained that these things or opportunities or offers most often than not come to you at the right time. If its not your time, even if you've spread out your resumes to thousands of companies or foreign headhunters, nothing will come. Sometimes, without you even putting much efforts, you get this surprising offer... just because Its Your Time.
I'd like to believe in this philosophy because I like the possibility of getting an offer without even lifting a finger. However, with this, you have no control of time. You sort of wait until Its Your fucking Time.
But, when is it really going to be your time? That's the question. I definitely don't want to relish the adventures of foreign living at 75!

At the risk of sounding new agey, all you have to do is ask for it, release the wish, tapos it will come. although meron din siyang kasamang be-careful-what-you-wish-for disclaimer. but if you ask for it, ibibigay sa yo, promise. :)
