Today, my regularization takes effect. My boss just told me.
I'm quite happy.
Weeks before, our HR has been giving out this "Evaluation" Form to all the people I've worked with. And my only fear was the evaluation from my Creatives. My boss has always been transparent and expressive about her evaluation, that's why I'm not really scared about. This is not to say that all she said were good things. My creatives, who are so damn good, are not quite easy to please and in terms of work, boy you've got to be ready to answer their questions, especially when briefing them.
As an accounts person, I have to give the correct information and directions. (I hope I do, really...)
As an accounts person, the real challenge is to balance what clients want versus what creatives strongly feel. Of course, to the best of my abilities, I fight for my creatives. But most of the time, if not all, its what the Client wants that we follow. I don't really want to give them the impression that I don't fight for them. But, it seems that's my impression because my clients also are alarmingly stubborn.
Anyway, my boss said that the Creative guys gave a good evaluation of moi, and recommended to make me a regular employee.
That's so nice to hear, really. I'm touched. (Yuck, dramatics.)
Sana lang may kasamang increase.
