Talo si Pashmina

Mother's day yesterday.

I bought a nice pashmina for my mom (as suggested by Maite). Its nice, but then its also cheap - a whopping P450.

I'm kind of looking forward to giving it to my mom because it really feels great when you hear a sincere thanks for a sincere gift. I always loved that feeling, especially that I felt I'm the only one among us siblings who will give a mother's day gift.

Well, I was wrong.

Before we left for dinner out, we greeted our mom happy mother's day and there, I decided I would give my gift, where everyone could see. I was imagining my mom would be tearful for remembering and being "generous." But at that same moment, my kuya gave his gift also. A big horizontal box, wrapped in a very nice and classy way. She opened first the my brother's gift. It was a magic sing lang naman (costs more than ten thousand pesos). She cried. As in konti na lang, hagulgol level na. Actually, it was a very heartbreaking moment because she uttered the words "akala ko hanggang panaginip na lang na makakuha ako nito..." Awww....

And then she opened my gift. Thanks, that's it.

Actually, okay lang naman ano. Because that knitted pashmina is so talo with magic sing naman talaga. I'm just glad that at least, I gave something to her.

We then proceeded to have a sumptuous dinner at Super bowl in Filinvest. (By the way, I ate a whole plate of salted fish fried rice. By myself. I'm the worst.)

That was our mother's day.

When we got home, I did not let go of the microphone, and sang for the rest of the night.

wow how class!!!

pero maiba lang tayo ano, i'm really hoping na lang that the pashmina you bought is not the kind made from killing endangered animals in Tibet.

Me, I just want some temporary stealings of that Magic Sing for a fun session. Oooh, parang event sa Shangrila: "Saturdays at 719! Featuring: Magic Sing!"
